Gender and Power in the Premodern World
Delighted to be part of the board overseeing a new book series for ARC Humanities Press, “Gender and Power in the Premodern World”. Send us your ideas!
We are aiming to fill a lacuna in the field by offering a short form (30-45,000 word length) series for monographs and collections which explore issues related to gender and power-both interpreted in the broadest possible sense. We are looking for innovative research and have an open and inclusive remit with regard to disciplinary focus, period and place-with a global remit for our series we are open to studies from any geographical or cultural context. The series also aims to publish work at an affordable price point with open access options in order to give the research published with us the widest possible reach.
